Chainsaw at a bar fight?

“When our officers arrived, the chainsaw was still running.”

CNHI News Service

CATOOSA, OklaWhen a man in a bar fight didn't get the job done with a knife he went outside and got a chainsaw, police said.
An argument had escalated into a fight when one participant retrieved a knife from his car, came inside and tried stabbing the other man involved in the argument, police said. But a third man stepped in to break up the fight and was stabbed in the chest, though apparently not seriously injured.
The knife-wielding man left and the bar was closed, police said. But when the man returned later and found the door locked, he went to his car and pulled out a chainsaw - apparently to cut his way back inside.
“Apparently he was standing at the doors with a chainsaw trying to get in and heard sirens and ran,” Catoosa Assistant Police Chief Paul Whitmire said. “When our officers arrived, the chainsaw was still running.”
Gary Lynn Dean, 36, was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Levi Williams, 32, was charged with public intoxication after Sunday night's ordeal.
