— Tom Lindley is the national editor of CNHI News Service. The veteran journalist has spent his entire career in the newspaper field. Before switching to CNHI News Service, he was the editor and publisher of The Evening News in Jeffersonville, Ind., for nine years. Earlier in his career he was the capital bureau chief for The Birmingham News and lived in Montgomery, Ala. Among other assignments, he held sports executive positions for The Pittsburgh Press and The Birmingham Post-Herald.
