Abstinence topic of girls' tea

Tahlequah's Spring 2008 Abstinence Tea, featuring international conference speaker Gwen Poteat, was held Wednesday during two sessions at the Cherokee County Community Building. Girls in sixth- through eighth-grade from more than 16 area schools participated, and learned about making choices.
